Mackie the mouse is looking for a home and it would be wonderful if you could consider taking him. He’s an elderly chap who’d love to live out his days in a loving home where he can enjoy the attention he deserves.

Bongo


Bongo was found chained to a metal gate in the middle of nowhere. It was high summer and whoever abandoned him didn't even have the decency to leave a bowl of water for Bongo to drink from. He was spotted just in time, panting, dehydrated and tangled in his chain. When the RSPCA arrived, we found him hot, tired, thirsty and barely able to move.

Pepsi & Cola



Pepsi & Cola are an affectionate pair of females aged fifteen and eleven. They’ve been here at Southridge since last November and, frankly, deserve better than being cooped up here in our cattery.

Weedy



Weedy is a one year old domestic rat whose owner handed him in to us when he had to go off to university. He’s a very friendly rat and, as you can see, is extremely easy to handle.

Foggy

Foggy has been at Southridge since last autumn when he was found as a stray. He’d obviously been on his own for some time as he had a huge, weeping abscess on his back which must have caused him a lot of pain. More...

Copper


Copper in an eleven month old cross breed who’s been here at the Centre since the autumn. He’s a lovely boy and he’s very eager to please and this makes him an ideal candidate for for a bit of extra training.

Tizer here is almost two and he’s been in kennels for virtually his entire life.

Kirstie


Kirstie here is a seven month old cross who was brought into the centre last Christmas. She’s a very lively puppy with loads of energy and enthusiasm and she’ll make the right owner extremely happy. She’s had a miserable start to life with a string of rotten owners who just can’t see her true potential.

Poppy is a four year old cross who’s been with us since last autumn. When we found her she was in a terrified state, but I’m pleased to say she’s settled in here very well. She’s now keen to be off to a new home and we hope you can help.

Lady was rescued with Fletcher from an derelict animal shelter where she was found living in squalid conditions. As an eight year old ex-racer, she’s had a terribly sad life and she’d love the chance of finding a loving home where she can finally put her feet up and relax.

Tallulah is just one of many rabbits here at Southridge. She’s an eighteen month old English Lop who’s been with us since the Autumn. Her previous owner brought her in to the centre after Tallulah had been repeatedly attacked by the neighbourhood fox. More...
