News & Information
The centre is funded by the RSPCA, yet there is still a constant demand to raise funds to cover the cost of the veterinary treatment that so many of the animals, especially the older and infirm need. The Friends help to provide a safety net for these animals. The money raised by the Friends of Southridge funds much of their treatment, sponsorship pensioner schemes.
As well as donations via PayPal or Virgin Giving, we welcome donations by cheque. Please make your cheque out to The Friends of RSPCA Southridge and enclose your details so we can say thank you. Southridge RSPCA, with the help of its Friends' group, has launched a special appeal in a bid to find homes for three long-stay dogs. Jack (8) and Gryff (12), two black and white cross-breeds, have been at the Centre for nearly a year. Nore, an 8 year old Staffie has only one eye. All three are desperate for new homes.
